[Japan] Monster Hunter Real 2014 Charges into Universal Studios Japan!

Capcom is on a roll lately, having recently announced Monster Hunter 4G/Ultimate was coming to Japan later this year and the rest of the world in early 2015 on the 3DS, but they're not content with that at all. Once again they've teamed up with Universal Studios Japan for a one of a kind experience for the fans of the series. Last time was for Biohazard, this time? Monster Hunter! What better way to celebrate the huge success that Monster Hunter 4 has had in Japan? I can't think of any...

Yes, you read that right. Monster Hunter has a full on exhibit which opened up yesterday at the Osaka based park. The event runs through May 11th and includes a ton of insane stuff to check out, like life sized animatronic Rathians, Tigrexs and more. You can even put on authentic hunter gear and pose with a Rathalos, if you're so inclined, for an 1800 yen fee.

That's not all though, like the insane monsters and food outside, the indoor portion of the exhibit features a ton of interesting and amazing stuff as well!

Once inside you'll get the chance to get an up close look at various pieces of armor, items, monster carves, weapons and even full armor sets as well. There's also themed food and drink items that are based on the various meals one can have in the game that will be served inside and outside around the exhibit area (no Felyne's serving, shame!). There's also a mobile Guild Store featuring all kinds of exclusive merchandise from the series as well for all kinds, even face painting!

One of the biggest highlights to the armor and other goods being put out for everyone is the life-size replica Star Rook equipment set. This has been designed to celebrate the exhibition and will be available to 3DS-carrying attendees via an exclusive downloadable quest as well!

Like the Biohazard The Real attraction, there will be a chance to go on "quests" as well, for those who don't want to just look at everything. Nothing as insane as Biohazard's was, but even throwing some paintballs at monsters can be full too, right?

So, now that you know what's going on, let's take a look at some pictures from around the event thanks to Game Watch who were there to see it all first hand during the press preview. This is a seriously awesome thing and the pictures below show what an amazing job Universal and Capcom have done with things. Just wish they'd bring it over to the states at some point!
